| Commencing with the acquisition of a biotech building in 1994 and a medical office building in 1995, the Company has fostered its relationships with several institutions and corporations to become a significant owner and developer of medical, healthcare and bioscience space. This niche of our business has grown significantly in recent years and is a primary focus of our current development and acquisition efforts. In addition to the construction of over 410,000 sf of state of the art laboratory and clinical space for Massachusetts General Hospital at Charles River Plaza, we own a number of medical office complexes, have numerous biotech/lab tenants in other buildings, and own several wellness/healthclub facilities in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Florida.
