- Previously provided consulting, acquisition, development and asset management work for Charles River Properties Ltd., Jones Lang Wootton U.S.A., M.J. Raynes, Inc., and the Xerox Realty Corporation
- A certified public accountant, Mr. McAvoy received his Master's Degree in Accounting from New York University and his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa
